Book 1 Trailer
Book 1 Prologue
In the heart of the city, an aging convent turned artists’ sanctuary whispers with echoes of the past. This is the eerie domain of “Shadows of the Stanton House”, a tale of love, art, and spectral mystery spun delicately by Philip J. Jones.
For centuries, the Stanton House Convent has been a crucible of inspiration and mystique, offering refuge to artists seeking solace and muse. However, shadows cast by ancient spirits lurking within its venerable walls dance capriciously with the lives of the current residents. Sarah, a pragmatic mystic, finds her powers challenged by the spectral forces while engaging in a desperate ballet to shield her companions. Unfolding alongside her is the journey of Alex, a filmmaker teetering on the ethical tightrope between exploitative sensationalism and the authentic human stories dwelling in the convent’s heart.
As these stories interweave, enter Emily, an artist with a soul as sensitive as her brush, caught in a turbulent whirlwind of love and supernatural intrigue. With each page, “Shadows of the Stanton House” unveils the fragile tapestry of their lives, shimmering under the influence of love, art, and the immutable haunting that ties them inexorably together.
In the unfolding canvas, relationships ebb and flow, reflecting the tumultuous energies at play. The characters find themselves at a crossroad, tethered between the earthly and the supernatural, passion and betrayal, with the Stanton House watching silently, bearing witness to their joys and sorrows.

“I told him, you know,” Steven began, his voice surprisingly clear. “I told Craig. But he didn’t listen, just like Johnathan isn’t listening now.”
Samantha looked at him, a glimmer of hope in her eyes. “Tell me, Steven,” she implored. “What is happening in that room? What are those whispers?”
Steven, taking a deep breath, responded, “That room... it’s alive, in a way. It’s got a pull, a force. I tried to cleanse it once, long before you came. But it’s strong, very strong.”
Samantha, desperate for a solution, asked, “Is there a way? A way to fight it?”
Steven looked at her, a sad smile on his face. “I don’t know. But if there is, you need to find it. Before it’s too late.”
As he walked away, leaving Samantha with more questions than answers, she felt a resolve building within her. She would find a way, she had to - for her sake and for Johnathan's. The whispers from Room 313 had to be silenced.

One day, an elderly priest approached him, his eyes reflecting a depth of wisdom only time could bestow. He introduced himself as Father Matteo and spoke of his own experiences with forces beyond comprehension. It was Father Matteo who warned Hendrick of the "uncontainable darkness" that he might someday face, a darkness unlike any other, one that could not merely be exorcised but needed to be understood and confronted at its very core.
Father Matteo spoke of an ancient entity, a malevolent force that was neither demon nor ghost, but something far older, an abyssal being that hungered for the essence of the living, drawing strength from their passions, fears, and souls.
